On 31st Jan 2016, we planned a visit to Kuldevi, Goddess Mahalasa and Damodar Temple. We reached Madgaon by Janshatabdi Express. After reaching Madgaon, we hired a rickshaw to Mardol. At Mahalasa Temple, we were lucky to experience the Ratha yatra & Sanje bhajans(Evening Bhajans). 

Our next stop was Malvan. By Mandovi Express we went to Kudal. Our holidays were booked at SBI MS Patel Holiday home, Suvidha near Phatak Shala, Malvan. This holiday home is one of the best SBI holiday homes with home cooked malvani food.

We had booked a bamboo boat house sea view stay at Tarkarli for a night which was pricey but worth it. The experience of living right next to the beach in a boat shaped house was lovely.

In Tarkarli, visit the Devbaug beach. Tsunami Island (near Devbaug beach) is a small island on the delta of Tarkarli river. Hotel Khobrekar near Devbaug beach is recommended for the authentic spicy food.
